Horizontal awnings

Horizontal awnings from AFS are used for shading large areas

on glass constructions.

Horizontal awnings types H1 and H2

Rolled horizontal awnings.


H1: Stainless steel support cable, Ø 6 mm, with transparent plastic sheath, 8 mm total diameter.

Type H2: Guide rails made of extruded aluminium. The single guide rail measures 25 x 30 mm

or 20 x 40 mm.

Notes

The construction limit values specified above only apply when using a fabric shaft with ø 120x3 mm.

Smaller fabric shaft diameters result in smaller maximum values.

Only as an individual unit model – mechanical coupling of awnings is cannot possible.

Cable force per fixing point: 6 kN (only for type H1).

A folded cover panel is optionally available depending on the structural conditions.

Horizontal awnings types H3 and H4

Horizontal awnings with gathered fabric.

Horizontal bands of fabric supported between transverse support rods are guided using stainless steel cords or guide rails and gathered in folds.

Notes

The construction limit values apply for gathering on one side.

Alternatively, the gathering can be arranged on two sides, with each gathering closing toward

the centre.

The blinds cannot be coupled mechanically.

They can only be used individually.
